There are few places in Edinburgh quite like the Dean Village. It definitely has a village feel to it, being nestled down in a dell by the side of the leafy Water of Leith, yet up above you still hear the sounds of the city in the distance, the centre only a 20 mins walk away.
6 Belford Mews is a complete one of the original Victorian artisan houses here, arranged above the coach house and stabling for the hansom cabs which served the city. This has been carefully restored into a spacious apartment, and sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, and still has one of the stables below for use as a private garage with the house, no horses involved!
It is only a 20 min walk to the city centre and is about a 10 min walk to Stockbridge along the Water of Leith pathway. This is probably one of the most photographed spots in Edinburgh!
